Comparative report for the change of the wind turbine in \"Santeramo in Colle\" wind farm project

This comparative study is drawn up at the request of EOLICA LUCANA Ltd. and examines the performance of technical services relating to the assessment of the impacts resulting from the proposal to amend the wind turbine model with respect to the provisions of the final project for the construction of a wind farm in the province of Bari, falling within the municipality of Santeramo in Colle.
In particular we want to compare the features of the Gamesa G90, scheduled during final design in 2009, with a new model Gamesa G97 that has the same power.
The alternative proposal doesn't change in the nature or functioning and this change doesn't produce significant negative effects on the environment, as highlight the comparative analysis conducted and the results of which are provided in this report. On the contrary we appreciate improvements in terms of noise, efficiency, safety, etc. .. associated primarily with the technological evolution of the same equipment than the previous version.
The study analyzes the improvements with respect to noise impact, range of rotating elements, manufacturability and visual impact (as assessed by comparison with photo simulations).
