Construction of power lines to connect five wind-farms to the electric grid in the municipalities of Limosano (CB), Sant’Angelo Limosano (CB) and San Biase (CB) and the associated works and infrastructure

The plans for the power lines to connect the three wind farms of Limasano, Sant'Angelo Limosano and San Biase to the national grid were made following an in-depth survey to choose the optimal route and to identify any interceptions and other critical issues.

The Limosano wind-farm involves the installation of 12 wind-turbines with rated power outputs equivalent to 2.5 MW, for a total of 30 MW.

The Sant'Angelo Limosano wind-farm involves the installation of 5 wind-turbines with rated power outputs equivalent to 2.5 MW, for a total of 12.5 MW.

The San Biase wind farm involves the installation of 10 wind-turbines with rated power outputs equivalent to 2.5 MW, for a total of 25 MW.

In particular the plans concentrate on the elements necessary to allow the connection of the towers downstream from the BT/MT transformation, at the MT/AT transformation substation.

The wind-power plants will require a connection to an MT/AT 30/150 kV transformation substation located in the municipality of Matrice and subsequent connection to the AT cable for connection to the RTN grid.
