Hydraulic study for the construction of a wind farm in Santeramo in Colle (BA) consists of 12 wind turbines with a total capacity of 24 MW
The company Eolica Lucana s.r.l is about to build a wind farm of 12 WTG in the Municipality of Santeramo in Colle (Ba). The proposed plant has a capacity of 24 MWp.
The hydrological and hydraulic study, which becomes part of the project to the final level, has been prepared in order to comply with the requirements by the Basin Authority of Puglia.
The study examined the basin of the manifold of Silica until the closing section near the intersection with the provincial road SP128. This basin covers an area of about 68 km2, which also involves a small portion of the Region of Basilicata.
For the present study we used the measurements made by the Client for the preparation of the final design, integrated by subsequent site investigations and detailed measurements made for the preparation of this study.
The hydrological study to determine the expected flow rates with different return periods was carried out at the basin level in accordance with the provisions of the project Flood Evaluation (VaPi) of National Group of Defense against Hydrogeological Disasters (GNDCI), as reported in the Plan Excerpt of Hydrogeological Structure of Basin Authority of Puglia.
For the hydraulic sizing of the various components of the project, however, given the general failure of the hydraulic network as a whole to dispose of the hydrological flow, we have used flow values defined for rainfall duration equal to the time of concentration of the individual sub-basins involved by the artefacts themselves (SB1 sub - canale Cipolla, sub-SB2 -collettore San Giuseppe sub-SB3-b).
